This blog is hosted at Hostgator so I’ll explain how to install your WordPress blog in less than 5 minutes.

WordPress needs MySql support and some free space. At first create a new database for your WordPress blog with phpMyAdmin or hostgator’s MySQL Account Maintenance.

When you see the message: “Worpdress 2.x is available! Please update now” you shouldn’t be lazy and skip the updating because you never know if someone could exploit vulnerabilities of the previous versions of WordPress. Another good reason not to skip the updating process is that WordPress is allways improving and adding new features which can speed up your blogging.

If you want to use Skype for business and personal use but don’t want to share your personal skype username the only thing is to have 2 separate Skype contacts working at the same time from 1 computer.

Some video services like ABC, HULU.com, Disney and others put a region restriction so residents from outside US can’t watch video from these sites. What those sites do is a protection called IP location checking. If it sees that your IP is from other country than US it says: “no you can’t watch that”. One of the reason for such a restriction is that advertisers for those video services doesn’t want to pay for ads to be seen by someone from let’s say Nigeria.
